Become a Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Volunteer!

 

All new MPS volunteers must:

1. Complete an application (either online or at the school).  We have different online forms for Community Volunteers and Parent/Guardian Volunteers.  You will receive an email notification when your application has been reviewed and sent to the school for next steps.

2. Review the online orientation and agree to the MPS Volunteer Expectations. Schools may require you to complete a school-specific volunteer orientation. 

3. Some volunteer positions require you to complete a background check. The school will notify you if a background check is required for your role. Please allow up to two weeks to complete the background check process.
