Volunteer Background Check process

Effective February 21, 2018- volunteers no longer need to pay for background checks.  Please read about the new process below:

Background checks are required for volunteers that will be working in an unsupervised role with a students(s).  Schools have the authority to decide which roles will require a background check.  Most field trips require a background check.  

  1. Please click the link below to complete the background check request form.
  2. You will receive an email with the subject line “Action Request” which contains a link to complete your background check.  Please note:  It can take 3-5 business days for you to receive this email.
  3. Important:  your background check must be completed within 48 hours of receiving the email.
  4. You will be notified of your background check results via email.  The school will also be notified of your background check results.  Please allow up to 2 weeks for the background check process to be complete.  
  5. Background check results are valid for 2 years.
